Inspired by Woody Guthrie's fantastic songs, in 2008 the American folk-pop songwriter Jonatha Brooke released the critically-acclaimed album "The Works", with musical reinterpretations of the singer-songwriter's poetry.

Prominent musicians such as Joe Sample, Christian McBride, Steve Gadd and Greg Leisz appeared on the album, which was co-produced by the legendary Bob Clearmountain.

On this occasion, the JazzHouse audience can experience Jonatha Brooke solo.
